FAQ

Objections,
answered.

Are you really available at night?

Yes, for genuine emergencies. My normal coverage is 06:00–00:00 Central European time. Midnight to 06:00 is premium wake-up coverage. Retainer clients can have defined overnight response targets.

Can you guarantee you will fix it?

No responsible engineer can guarantee a resolution before seeing an unknown system. I can guarantee an honest fit check, a defined incident process and careful production work.

How fast do you respond?

One-off incidents are accepted based on current capacity. On Call clients have published response targets; On Call Pro is the tightest tier.

What stack do you support?

My strongest production stack is C#/.NET, TypeScript/React/Node, C++20, Python/Go, SQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB/Redis, RabbitMQ, Docker/Nginx, APIs, integrations and modern AI tooling.

Do I need a retainer?

No. Emergency Rescue and Priority Engineering can be purchased as one-offs. A retainer makes sense when you want access, architecture context and escalation rules prepared before the next incident.

Why is emergency work more expensive?

Because immediate senior attention interrupts planned work and constrains availability. If the issue can wait, use scheduled engineering.

Can you work with our agency white-label?

Yes. Agency backup is a strong use case, especially when your own team cannot cover nights, weekends or a difficult technical escalation.

How do we give you access safely?

Use temporary accounts, SSO invitations or a password manager. Do not send production passwords or API keys in the public incident form.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, where reasonable. Larger and recurring relationships should use written service and confidentiality terms.

What if you are already on another incident?

I will tell you immediately. I do not sell fake capacity. Retainer commitments are capped so existing response promises remain credible.
