Pricing

Urgency has a price.
So does waking me up.

I publish starting rates because an emergency is the worst time for a long sales process. If the work can wait, scheduled engineering is cheaper. If it cannot, you are paying for immediate senior attention and disrupted availability.

PlanPriceBilling rule
Scheduled Senior Engineering€150/hour2-hour minimum.
Priority Engineering€225/hour2-hour minimum; same-day urgent work during 06:00–00:00.
Emergency Rescue€300/hour2-hour minimum; active production incident during 06:00–00:00.
Wake Simon€500 first hour; €400/hour after00:00–06:00 genuine emergency call-out. First hour billed in full.
Simon On Call€750/month + usagePre-onboarding + response targets.
Simon On Call Pro€1,500/month4 scheduled hours included + tighter response targets.
Launch Hypercare€1,200 / 4-hour reserved windowAdditional time €250/hour.

Applicable taxes are added where legally required. A written scope/authorization is confirmed before billable work begins.

“€300/hour is expensive.”

If the system is not time-sensitive, use scheduled engineering at €150/hour. Emergency pricing exists because immediate senior attention has an opportunity and lifestyle cost.

“Why pay a retainer if work is billed separately?”

The retainer buys preparedness, system context, a direct escalation path and a response commitment. Work time is separate because availability and engineering are two different costs.
