Better Call Simon™ is an independent software engineering and technology service associated with software engineer Simon Soka.

Better Call Simon is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or otherwise commercially associated with Sony Pictures Television, AMC Networks, the television series “Better Call Saul”, or any of their respective affiliates, licensors, owners, creators, cast members or partners.

All third-party names, trademarks, logos, product names and other intellectual property referenced on this website, if any, remain the property of their respective owners. Any reference is made solely for identification or informational purposes. No third-party sponsorship, endorsement, partnership or other commercial relationship is implied.

Better Call Simon uses its own branding, visual identity and software-engineering service offering.

Response times shown on this website are service targets for eligible/accepted incidents or contracted On Call coverage. They are not guaranteed resolution times. Resolution depends on system access, technical scope, third-party services, data condition, client decision-making and the nature of the incident.

Emergency engineering is provided only for systems the client is authorized to operate or commission work on. Clients are responsible for providing accurate authorization, backups and required third-party permissions.

Specialist cybersecurity forensics, malware response and penetration testing are outside the standard Better Call Simon offer unless separately agreed with appropriately scoped expertise.

What is collected. The incident form collects the details you type: impact, timing, stack, environment, redacted evidence, rollback status, who can authorize changes, your contact email and callback preference, plus your IP address for abuse prevention. Nothing is collected passively; this site sets no analytics or marketing cookies.

Why. To assess, accept and deliver the engineering work you request (contract performance and legitimate interest in preventing abuse under GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).

Who processes it. Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this site and its form endpoint and provides bot protection (Turnstile). Submissions are delivered to Simon by email via Resend, Inc. and by push notification via Superblock, LLC (Pushover). Each acts as a processor under its own data-processing terms.

Retention. Submissions are not stored in a database by this site. They exist in the delivery channels above and in Simon’s mailbox for as long as needed to handle the engagement and meet legal obligations. Rate-limit counters expire automatically within ten minutes.

Your rights. Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Write to simon@bettercallsimon.eu. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority; in Slovakia that is the Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov.
